Depew wraps up division title, continues long win streak

The good times continue to roll for the Depew Lady Wildcats.

Depew has already wrapped up the ECIC III division title with an undefeated record as they have won 11 games in a row dating back to an April 3 loss versus Williamsville East.

Lancaster head coach Mark Dalfonso believes his team plays in the toughest division in all of Section VI baseball. He knows what ever team comes out on top of that division will have really earned it through hard work and determination. Lancaster’s division is so tough that the Redskins haven’t been able to do it since 2003.

Depew schedules Basketball Camp

Depew High School will host its basketball camp from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29. The camp, for boys and girls entering grades three through eight, will emphasize basketball skills and fundamentals. The cost is $100 and includes camp and a T-shirt. Lady Redskins suffer setback in finale against Clarence

Following eight wins in a row, the Lancaster Lady Redskins needed to win just won more game to lock up an ECIC I division title and the top seed for the Section VI Class A playoffs. All the Lady Redskins had to do was defeat a Clarence team on Tuesday that came in with just four wins on the season.
