WINGS OF FURY — The Buffalo Wild Wings 12 U baseball team capped off a successful season with a great tournament at Cooperstown Dream Park, finishing with a 4-4 record and advancing to the third round of the playoffs. The Wings competed against 104 top flight teams from around the country. Highlighting the event was Tyler Lis winning the title of “King of Swat” by beating all participants in the home run derby. Kelsie Blizzard, a Lancaster native and graduate of Lancaster High School, was named one of three tri-captains for D’Youville College’s 2010 women’s soccer team. Blizzard leads the team with 37 career appearances and was the recipient of the team’s Spartan Award in 2009.

Andrew Fogelsonger, a Depew native and Lancaster High School graduate, was named a captain for the D'Youville College men's soccer team for the second-straight season. The fourth-year player played all 18 games last season and was the recipient of the team's Spartan Award and named to the All-AMCC Sportsmanship team.
