Monte Carlo comes to St. Mary’s Elementary

St. Mary’s Elementary School in Lancaster will host the eighth annual Monte Carlo Night from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Jan. 28, at the parish center, 2 St. Mary’s Hill, Lancaster. St. Paul’s Lutheran sets healing service

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West Falls Road, will host “Shine the Light on Cancer” on Saturday, Feb. 4. Two services will be held, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. From 7 to 10 p.m., the church will have a candlelight vigil of prayer and remembrance. People are asked to bring luminarias made out of used glass jars for each person affected by cancer, to either pray for or remember.
