Monte Carlo comes to St. Mary’s Elementary
St. Mary’s Elementary School in Lancaster will host the eighth annual Monte Carlo Night from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Jan. 28, at the parish center, 2 St. Mary’s Hill, Lancaster. Strut your stuff at singles dance

St. Gabriel’s to hold ’60s and ’70s dance
St. Gabriel’s Holy Name Society is sponsoring the 28th annual ’60s and ’70s Dance on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Parish Center, 5271 Clinton St. Attendees must be 21 or older. The doors open at 7:45 p.m., with music by Mitty and the Followers (formerly The Legendary Dukes) beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 presale and $18 at the door. Depew Hook & Ladder plans raffle
Depew Hook & Ladder Volunteer Fire Company will hold its 10th annual “Tool & More” raffle from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Southside Fire Hall, 45 Meridian St., Depew. St. Paul’s Lutheran sets healing service
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West Falls Road, will host “Shine the Light on Cancer” on Saturday, Feb. 4. Two services will be held, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. From 7 to 10 p.m., the church will have a candlelight vigil of prayer and remembrance. People are asked to bring luminarias made out of used glass jars for each person affected by cancer, to either pray for or remember. St. Vincent de Paul to present Vegas Night
St. Vincent de Paul School, 6441 Seneca St., will hold “Vegas Night” from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Tickets, which are $20 presale and $25 at the door, include $5 in gaming chips, beer, wine, snacks, coffee, desserts and a chance to win four Buffalo Sabres tickets. Art society plans meeting, presentation
