Teen Gaming — Get off the couch and “exergame” with friends. Play Wii, board games and more. Light snacks provided. Fridays at 3 p.m.

Toddler Time for 2- to 3-year-olds will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Fridays from Jan. 13 to Feb. 3.

Lapsit Story Time for ages 3 to 23 months will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays from Feb. 9 to March 15.

Preschool Story Time for ages 3 to 5 will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays from Feb. 14 to March 6.

Children ages 5-12 are invited to make a valentine craft from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8. Presented by the Lancaster Youth Bureau.

“Raising a Writer: What Parents Can Do to Encourage Young Writers” will be presented by certified reading specialist Patty George from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. Call 686-3390 to register.

Library Board of Trustees meetings are held at 4 p.m. the third Thursday of each month and are open to the public.

Library display cases are available throughout the year. If interested in showcasing your display/collection, call the library at 683-1120.

The Lancaster Public Library serves residents of Lancaster and Depew. The library is located at 5466 Broadway in the Village of Lancaster. Parking is available in the lot at the library or at Trinity Episcopal Church, Lancaster Presbyterian Church, Potter’s House and the Moose Club.

The hours are:

Monday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m; Tuesday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m; Wednesday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m;

Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.. Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m. through April 8.
