The Depew Union Free School District is soliciting names of alumni to be added to its Wall of Fame.

In fall 2011, the district developed the program in order to recognize the outstanding achievements of its graduates.

Nominees must be a graduate of at least 15 years. The induction ceremony will be held during homecoming week. Applications are available in the district office, 591 Terrace Blvd., Depew, and at www.depewschools.org. Applications are due by Friday, March 30.

A nominee will be considered for the categories of athletics, scholarship, community service, the arts, and friend of the alumni from each decade. Each nominee will be reviewed by a committee. Individuals who are selected will be afforded a place on the wall with a picture and biographical information.

Honorees will also be asked to address high school students at a reception being held in their honor. This year’s induction ceremony and reception is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 11.
