Three standout bowlers have been named the Block L Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of Jan. 23-29 at Lancaster High School.

Chris Krueger, a junior, led the Redskins’ boys bowling team with a 640 series against Williamsville North. He followed that with a 730 series, including a 288 frame in which he carried a perfect score to his 11th ball, versus Orchard Park. His season average of 211.2 is in the top five in ECIC Division I.

Alissa Schultz, a senior, and Julie Dolegala, a sophomore, have been lighting the lanes on fire for the Lady Redskins this season. Schultz bowled a 219/607 set against Williamsville North, while Dolegala recorded a 230/630 set against Orchard Park. Both are ranked in the top-five averages in ECIC Division I play.
