Area’s best seniors to clash in boys hoops tripleheader

File photo by Scott SchildPurchase color photos at www.BeeNews.com The area’s top senior boys basketball players will cap off their high school careers by participating in the ADPRO Sports 15th annual Silver Hoops Classic.
The tripleheader, which is being sponsored by ADPRO Sports, will feature players from the Erie County Interscholastic Conference, Niagara Frontier League, Monsignor Martin Association and Buffalo Public Schools. Games are slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the William J. Grabiarz School of Excellence, 225 Lawn Ave., Buffalo.
The 12:30 p.m. game will pit the Buffalo Public Small Schools versus the ECIC All-Stars in the James Mastrodicasa Memorial, while the 2 p.m. game will feature the ECIC versus the NFL All-Stars in the John Bellanti Memorial. The MMA and Buffalo Public Large Schools will close out the day’s festivities in the Paul R. Missana Memorial in the 3:30 p.m. game.
Tickets are $1 for students and $3 for adults.
The only available rosters before press time were the ECIC All-Stars for the 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. games.

The team is co-coached by Larry Jones (Depew) and Chris Kensy (Amherst).
