Two weeks ago, four Lancaster DECA students and their adviser participated at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

Of those students, three competed in the area of Business Services Operations Research Event and one student participated in the Senior Leadership Academy in addition to being a social media event specialist. These students earned the right to compete at the national level by ranking second in the state in their designated competition area in March.

The DECA International Career Development Conference is the culmination of the DECA year.

More than 18,000 high school students, teacher-advisers, business professionals and alumni gather for several days of DECA activities and competition.

While in Nashville, the students also attended the Grand Ole Opry and visited different sites around Nashville.
