Bee Heard

.As a resident of the Village of Lancaster, I’m disappointed with Mayor Schroeder, who claims we need special events year round. Unfortunately, we do not. After another wet spring, we have many sewer problems in the village. The special events are a waste of taxpayers’ money, and we need to put items, such as sewers, streets and other problems, on priority.

.Why can the village spend thousands for a new fire truck, and yet they don’t have a penny for either rat control or to help build a dog park? Maybe Mr. Schroeder could address that.
