Bee Heard

.As a resident of the Village of Lancaster, I’m wondering why they spent $20,000 on a 30-year-old sewer cleaning machine in the Village of Lancaster. This is bizarre. We need new equipment to take care of our sewers; so many cellars have backed up with this heavy rain. This is a disgrace to the village and poor management.

.I personally wrote a letter regarding the flooding situation. This is ridiculous; we have gotten no help and no answers. We are at their mercy when we voted to keep these people in office.

.As a lifelong resident of the Village of Lancaster, I support fully Ted Morton’s idea about dredging the lake as quickly as possible. There should be no reason for delaying this; that lake is an asset to the village, Town of Lancaster and the surrounding area. Let’s get that cleaned up as quickly as possible.
