Hillview youth groups ongoing

Hillview Baptist Church hosts weekly youth groups at 26 Rehm Road, Depew. The high school group meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, and the fourth- and fifth-grade kids’ club meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays. All Western New York youths are invited. Call 684-4694 for information.

Lancaster Town offers swim lessons

The Town of Lancaster Recreation Department will offer swim lessons to Town of Lancaster and Lancaster School District residents at the high school pool, 1 Forton Drive, Lancaster. Lessons will be held Monday or Thursday evenings from Feb. 5 through April 26. Classes include Toddler Swim, Learn to Swim, Advanced Swim and Special Needs Swim. Zonta foundation sponsors trivia night

The Zonta Cheektowaga Lancaster Foundation is sponsoring a team trivia night at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at the Cheektowaga Senior Center, 3349 Broadway. A pizza dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with trivia rounds following at 7:30 p.m. Teams can be between six and eight 21-year-old or older members. The cost is $20 per person. LYB to host speech improvement program

The Town of Lancaster Youth Bureau will host Buffalo State College’s speech improvement program from Tuesday, Feb. 6, to Thursday, May 3, at 200 Oxford Ave. in Lancaster. VFW sets Winter Weenie Warmer

VFW AMVETS Post 7275 will have its Winter Weenie Warmer from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at 3741 Walden Ave., Lancaster.
