BNTP to host August Summer Outing

Buffalo Niagara Travel Professionals will hold its August Summer Outing at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at Pearl Street Grill, 76 Pearl St., Buffalo. A Bedore Tours bus will depart from Pearl Street at 5:30 for a two-hour tour hosted by Eddy from Forgotten Buffalo Tours. Seating on the bus is limited, and pre-registration is required. The bus returns to Pearl Street at 7:30 for a “Buffalo-style” buffet dinner to include wings, roast beef on weck, pizza, loaded pub fries and a vegetable tray, as well as a cash bar. SCORE schedules small-business workshop

Buffalo Niagara SCORE and the Small Business Administration will host a workshop from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda. Topics to be discussed include creating a business plan, determining market and market research, legal organization of business and liability exposure, insurance, and federal and state tax considerations. infoTech Niagara to hold executive panel discussion

infoTech Niagara’s Executive Panel will have a discussion from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at The Saturn Club, 977 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.
