Bee Heard

. I am a resident of Newell Avenue in the Village of Lancaster. I am disappointed in the sewer work. This project didn’t have to be done in the winter months; all we have are stones, mud and a mess here. Why doesn’t a village official come and take a look at it? The street will not be resurfaced until late May or June. This project could have waited until April or some other time.

.Robert Giza Sr. has a part-time job he is qualified to do and that he can handle very well, and that is driving shuttle for Joe Basil. Some of the comments you read are not all from the Republican Party. I am an Independent Conservative, so that should clarify that issue. You claim he did a good job? Is that why taxes are so high? Is that why the Colecraft building was such a good investment for residents? .I was disgusted to read another short-sighted column in The Bee. The Keystone pipeline is more corporate greed looking only short term. The answer to our energy needs is green energy, like solar, wind and geothermal. It is the short- and long-term answer with health and environmental benefits.
