Doodle Bugs! to host carnival event

Doodle Bugs! Children’s Centers will be celebrating the last days of the summer with an End-of-Summer Carnival.

The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the company’s Buffalo locations. The Lancaster location is at 14 Rehm Road.

The carnival is free of charge and will feature face painting, balloons, games and prizes, carnival themed activities, hot dogs, popcorn and other snacks.

The End-of-Summer Carnival coincides with Carnival Days, which is the final weekly theme within the Doodle Bugs! summer camp curriculum.

“Carnivals are certainly synonymous with summer evenings, so before the fall begins, we want to have one last summer celebration,” said Anthony Insinna, president and CEO of Doodle Bugs! Children’s Centers. “It is a fantastic opportunity to bring current families and community members together for a fun family event.”

Parents can mingle with other families, meet the staff and tour the center while children enjoy the carnival attractions. Guests will also have an opportunity to learn more about the upcoming fall programs and learn about enrollment options.
