A Woman of No Importance — For all “Downton Abbey” fans, peer through the window of time and see Hester, a beautiful, young, American; spend a weekend at an English country house party in the company of upper-crust nobility. Her love, Gerald, has just been offered an exciting post working for the rich, fascinating Lord Illingworth. When Gerald’s mother Rachel arrives, revealing a shocking secret about Lord Illingworth’s past, the plot takes a turn to the Wilde (Oscar) side and sizzles with scandal. Lottery Tickets for Wicked — A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for “Wicked,” which is returning to Shea’s Performing Arts Center for 24 performances through Jan. 26. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Shea’s Box Office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; 30 minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.
