Empire One opens new banking location

After two months in their new building, Empire One Federal Credit Union welcomed the community to a grand-opening celebration of their new Orchard Park headquarters at 3020 Orchard Park Road in West Seneca.

According to a press release from the business, the state-of-the-art, 7,800-square-foot building is reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural design and is now home to Empire One’s administrative staff and Orchard Park branch employees.

On Sept. 20, board members and staff held a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce in attendance, the release said. The board room, named the Modica Room, was dedicated in honor of David and Eleanor Modica for their years of service.

Empire One’s CEO, Jim Furman, said he is proud of the credit union’s growth.

“We value our place in the community and are excited to share this new state-of-the-art building with our growing membership. We expect many future years of growth and success,” he said.

According to the release, Empire One Federal Credit Union is a full-service, nonprofit financial institution, offering lower loan rates and competitive deposit accounts to its members.

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or goes to school in Erie County.
