Civil War Days set for historical society

The Lancaster Historical Society will sponsor Civil War Days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Historic Red Schoolhouse at William Street and Bowen Road.

Pet Blessing slated at St. Mary’s

A Blessing of the Pets will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in the pavilion outside St. Mary of the Assumption Church, on the corner of St. Joseph and Aurora streets in Lancaster.

Holy Mother of the Rosary sets events

St. Mary’s High School will hold its Placement Exam Review Course from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 to 18. The registration deadline is Nov. 9.
