Vital Nature: Burchfield at BCAT — Utilizing several prominent collections of fine art, the exhibit will explore the rich tradition of watercolor painting in WNY, and include original paintings by Charles Burchfield, Martha Burchfield Richter, Catherine Burchfield Parker and Peggy Richter, which will hang side by side with work created by BCAT high school students. Opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, and a ticketed fundraiser will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11 ($250 per couple), in the Amber M. 2017 Art Off the Wall Annual Fundraiser — The Carnegie Art Center will be hosting its annual fundraiser on Friday, Dec. 1. They are looking for artists who are interested in participating in this year’s event. Call to WNY Artists — The West Seneca Art Society welcomes WNY painters, photographers and sculptors to be a part of its three week Fall Art Show at the West Seneca Senior Center building, located at 4620 Seneca St., West Seneca.
