Community responds in crisis

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the compassion and support you’ve shown Landyn, Emersyn and me following the death of my husband, Eric Przykuta.

Though never expected, when tragedy strikes it seems this community becomes singularly focused on providing every possible tool to aid in comforting and healing the affected family.

The Przykuta and Wargula families were on the receiving end of your prayers and generosity last month.

In addition to the hundreds of friends, families, teachers and students who gave of themselves, I would like to offer special thanks to a number of local businesses for their generous donations during our time of crisis: Wegmans, Tops, Paula’s Donuts, La Costa Verde, Buffalo’s Best Grill & Catering, and Ronny’s Pizzeria.

You may never know how much your thoughtfulness meant to us.

Finally, a special thank you to the Lancaster Central School District and its administrators and the Lancaster Central Teachers Association and all of its members.

We are truly a family in Lancaster, which is never more apparent than when we lose one of our own.

Thank you all for everything you’ve done for my family.
