Rain fails to deter car enthusiasts

The Village of Lancaster held its second event of the 2018 series Sunday, its annual Car and Cycle Show.

For the past three years this show has been plagued by rain, and this year was no different, except for the fact that despite the rain, the people and cars stayed.

Food and product vendors stayed, the beautiful cars and their owners stayed and the audience for Lancaster’s own Terry Buchwald stayed.

This is a tremendous compliment to the hours of hard work and planning that go into each and every special event by Dawn Gaczewski, events coordinator, and to all those who participate.

People mingle, visit one another and explore our many new and established businesses. It turned out to be a great afternoon, and that could not have happened without your support.

We truly hope that you enjoy our event series and look forward to our annual Fourth of July celebration.

Let’s hope the rain misses us for that.
