Zonta sets charity garage sale

The Cheektowaga-Lancaster Zonta Foundation will hold a charity garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at 27 Stephens Court in Lancaster.

Lancaster Elks Lodge plans flea market

The Lancaster Elks Lodge will hold a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at 33 Legion Parkway, Lancaster. Holy Mother schedules barbecue

Holy Mother of the Rosary will hold a chicken barbecue dinner, drive-thru only, from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, June 20, July 18, Aug. 15 and Sept. 19 at 6298 Broadway, Lancaster. Dinners are $11 and include potato, vegetable, roll, butter and dessert.

Home for youth plans fundraiser

Plymouth Crossroads, which provides a home for at-risk youth, will hold its Crossroads Bluesfest at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Chicken Coop, or VFW Post 8113, 299 Leydecker Road, West Seneca. Tickets are $10 presale, or $15 at the door. Basket raffles, food, drinks and music will benefit the Lancaster home.

Garden Club plans June 13 meeting

The Lancaster Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 55 Pleasant Ave., Lancaster. Carol Ann Harlos will demonstrate how to make a kokedama.

Holy Mother plans car cruise, blessing

Hull House plans history camp

The Hull Family Home and Farmstead will have its history camp for kids from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 23 to Friday, July 27 at 5976 Genesee Street in Lancaster. Students entering grades five through eight will have the opportunity to learn about life in WNY in the early 1800s.
