RPEA holiday party set for Dec. 5

The Retired Public Employees Association Inc. will hold its holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road, Depew. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and food will be served at 12:30 p.m. This event is $25 per person and is open to Western New York Chapter members and one guest per member. 18th annual Buffalo Art Walk scheduled

The 18th annual Buffalo Art Walk will present artists and their work for sale in homes, shops, studios and businesses. The event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11. The venues are located in and around the greater Elmwood Village area. Junior League accepting grant applications

The Junior League of Buffalo is now accepting applications for its Community Assistance Small Grants program. A maximum of $7,000 is anticipated to be available in funding, which may be split among successful applicants at the Junior League of Buffalo’s discretion. Applications are available on the Junior League of Buffalo’s website: https://www.jlbuffalo.org/?nd=community_assistance_grants. The applications must be returned to JLBCommunityImpactGrants@gmail.com no later than Friday, Nov. 16.
